Rep. Terry Wilson Endorses Ellen Troxclair for State Representative
Spicewood, TX - Today, Representative Terry Wilson announced his endorsement of Ellen Troxclair for State Representative.
"While I will no longer represent Burnet County after redistricting, I am excited to endorse Ellen Troxclair to be your next state representative,” said Wilson. “I have had the opportunity to observe Ellen work on issues ranging from reducing property taxes to fighting back against the 'defund the police' movement through her role with the conservative think-tank, the Texas Public Policy Foundation.”
“I have also had the opportunity to watch her work ethic as she runs for office across multiple counties and have seen first-hand that she knows the district and understands the issues unique to the Hill Country,” continued Wilson. “Through her service on the Austin City Council, she has demonstrated that a conservative Republican can provide effective, principled leadership and effect change, even when she had to do so alone.”
“I am incredibly honored Representative Wilson has placed his faith in me to represent his constituents after redistricting,” said Troxclair. “I look forward to working with him in the Texas House to advance our conservative priorities and protect the unique needs of the Texas Hill Country.”
Rep. Wilson joins Burnet County’s Congressman Roger Williams, Burnet County GOP Chairman Kara Chasteen, Fmr. State Rep. Jason Isaac, Former Burnet County Judge Dave Kithill, Former District Judge Gil Jones, Texas Association of Realtors TREPAC, Restore Liberty, and more in endorsing Troxclair for State Representative.
Ellen Troxclair is a small business owner, devoted mom, and proven conservative. She and her husband, Caleb, are the proud parents of three young children and attend church at Life Family. House District 19 contains Blanco, Burnet, Gillespie, Kendall, and part of Travis County. You can learn more at TroxclairForTexas.com.
